Cast by hand · Batch 014

Concrete,
but it knows
restraint.

RÉPLICA pours small-batch objects for the slow home — planters, lamps, vases. No two faces cure alike. Pick a finish, we cast it, you keep it for decades.

The Monolith planter in pigmented concrete on a terracotta plinth, lit by raking studio light The Monolith · raw grey

The method

Three rules we won't pour without.

  • 01

    Poured, never molded twice

Every vessel is hand-poured in a single batch. Air pockets and tonal drift are kept, not sanded away — your piece is a record of the day it cured.

  • 02

    A finish you actually choose

Six pigments mixed into the slurry, not painted on. The colour runs all the way through, so a chip reveals more concrete — not bare plaster.

  • 03

    Sealed to outlive the trend

A food-safe matte seal shrugs off water rings and UV. Indoors or on a balcony, it ages into a patina instead of failing into a crack.

  • “It arrived heavier than I expected, in the best way. Six months on a sunny sill and the pigment hasn’t shifted a shade.”

Mara V. — kept The Monolith since Batch 009
  • “The lamp throws this low, honest light. Friends assume it cost three times what it did and I let them.”

Before you order

Honest answers, no asterisks.

Is every piece really one-off?

Yes. We pour in batches but each vessel cures on its own, so tone and surface drift slightly between them. You receive the exact piece photographed for your finish.

Will concrete crack on a cold balcony?

The seal is freeze-rated to -15°C. Drainage is built into every planter. We have pieces that have wintered outdoors three seasons without a hairline.

How heavy are these?

The Monolith lands at 3.1kg, The Halo at 2.4kg, The Facet at 1.8kg. Heavy enough to stay put, light enough to move with one hand.

What is the return window?

30 days, finish unworn. Because pieces are cast to order we ask you keep the original crate — it is engineered to survive the trip back.
