Regulatory FAQ
The questions compliance asks first
Is Aurelis licensed, and where?
Aurelis operates through regulated entities in the jurisdictions it serves. Specific licenses and registrations are provided under NDA during onboarding (placeholder for this template).
How are client assets segregated?
Client assets are held separately from corporate balance-sheet assets — distinct on-chain addresses and segregated records — so they are never commingled with operating funds.
Who audits the platform?
Independent third parties perform recurring security audits and proof-of-reserves attestations. Reports are shared with clients under the relevant confidentiality terms.
What does the insurance cover?
Custody coverage is arranged with specialist underwriters against defined events such as theft and key loss. Coverage scope and limits are documented per engagement (placeholder terms).
How do you handle jurisdiction and travel-rule compliance?
Onboarding includes KYB and sanctions screening, and transfers follow applicable travel-rule and reporting obligations for the relevant jurisdictions.
Does Aurelis offer investment advice or returns?
No. Aurelis is infrastructure: custody, settlement and compliance tooling. It does not provide investment advice and makes no representation about asset performance or returns.
